Core responsibilities

• 💵 Hands-on investing: Identify, evaluate, and invest in real student startups, from companies not yet incorporated to those raising a priced equity round.
• 🔍 Source deal opportunities: Scout promising startups and identify investment potential.
• 🖋️ Write investment memos: Collaborate with experienced Investment Partners to analyze startups and document key insights. Make investment recommendations.
• 🌍 Represent S2S: Be the face of the organization to founders and the wider public.
• 💬 Collaborate: Sync with your local investment team to strategize, share insights, and align on goals. </aside>

What we are looking for

• 🎓 Student status: Full-time student enrolled in Bachelor, Master, PhD, MBA, or Post-Doc program at a Swiss institution of higher education. Students have to be in Switzerland, meaning they cannot be on an academic exchange.

• 🧠 Curiosity: A strong interest in tech and investing as the role involves readings and product analyses.

• 🔗 Ecosystem presence: Well-connected within the local ecosystem, including students and clubs.

• 💪 Drive: A personal drive reflected by past projects and lived experiences.

• 🤝 Team player: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• ⏰ Commitment: At least two semesters and a minimum average of 8 hours per week.

  We will consider exceptional candidates who are only available for one semester, but in general we expect a definitive year-long commitment to ensure operational longevity.
